Why Choose theKOLLAB as Your Crypto Marketing Agency in London, UK

Fundraising Through the Same Network We Market With

We have raised over $2.5M from KOLs for presale and OTC allocations. Whether a UK raise can be promoted publicly, and to whom, depends on FCA investor categorization rules, so we confirm that before any campaign goes live.

In London, a KOL’s value isn’t follower count; it’s whether they can post about a qualifying cryptoasset without triggering an FCA finfluencer investigation. We vet all 250+ creators in our CoinBureau-backed network for that first, before reach ever enters the conversation.

A Network of 250+ Verified Crypto KOLs

Strategy Built Around the FCA, Not Around It

Every campaign accounts for the UK’s financial promotions regime from the brief stage. That includes the mandatory risk warning, the 24-hour cooling-off period for first-time investors, and the ban on incentives to invest, so a campaign doesn’t need reworking after legal review.

Why London Is the Right Market for Crypto Marketing

London runs the UK’s crypto market from the same square mile as its banks, and the two audiences increasingly overlap. The FCA’s Cryptoasset Consumer Research found 91% of UK adults are now aware of cryptoassets, and 8% own them, a group of roughly 4.2 million people holding an average of about £1,842 each.

The UK is the largest crypto economy in Central, Northern and Western Europe, receiving $217 billion in on-chain crypto value between July 2023 and June 2024, per Chainalysis. That sits alongside a financial press corps- the Financial Times, Bloomberg, the BBC- that can move a story from a London placement to a fund manager in New York or Singapore within the same news cycle.

Crypto Marketing Services for London-Based Web3 Companies

Crypto Influencer & KOL Marketing in London

Our 250+ verified KOLs have produced 2,000+ pieces of sponsored Web3 content. For UK campaigns, every post carries the standardized risk warning the FCA requires, since the finfluencer rules make no distinction between a large account and a small one. Activations can run around London’s own event calendar, including Digital Assets Week at St Katharine Docks and the Digital Assets Forum.

Crypto KOL Fundraising

We have raised over $2.5M from KOLs for presale and OTC allocations, including one $350,000 round from Tier-1 KOLs only that returned 400% for participants. UK promotion rules restrict who can legally receive a direct offer for a qualifying cryptoasset, so we confirm investor categorization before any raise-related content goes out.

Crypto PR & Earned Media in the UK

We place clients in 30+ premium crypto outlets, with exclusive access to CoinBureau’s own platform. London’s institutional press, the Financial Times, Bloomberg, the BBC, sits alongside crypto-native coverage as a realistic placement for a project with real substance behind it.

Community Management for UK Crypto Projects

A UK-facing Telegram or Discord still counts as a financial promotion under FCA rules if it promotes a qualifying cryptoasset. We build the required risk warning into the pinned message and the bot replies, not only the website.

Crypto SEO Services for the UK Market

Buyers searching “FCA registered crypto marketing agency” or “crypto marketing agency London” are already inside the regulatory funnel. Our crypto SEO work targets exactly that kind of high-intent, already-informed search.

Social Media Management for London Crypto Projects

We manage your social channels with UK audiences, platform expectations, and crypto-specific disclosure requirements in mind. From daily content and community engagement to moderation and campaign support, our team keeps your social presence active, relevant, and responsive across UK and international time zones.

What Our UK-Based Clients Say About theKOLLAB

How theKOLLAB Approaches FCA Compliance

The UK runs one of the strictest crypto promotion regimes anywhere. Since 8 October 2023, any firm marketing a qualifying cryptoasset to a UK consumer has fallen under the FCA’s financial promotions regime, whether that firm is based in the UK or not. Promotions must be clear, fair and not misleading, carry a standardized risk warning, and give first-time investors a mandatory 24-hour cooling-off period before they can receive a direct offer. Incentives to invest, including referral bonuses, are banned outright.

No Exemption for Paid Endorsements

The FCA does not distinguish between a large creator and a small one. Several individuals have already faced criminal charges under section 21 of FSMA for promoting unregistered crypto platforms to UK audiences without authorization. We write the required disclosure into the creator’s post itself.

The Regime Is About to Get Bigger

Financial promotion rules are currently the FCA’s main lever over crypto marketing, but that changes soon. A full cryptoasset authorization regime comes into force on 25 October 2027, with the application gateway open between 30 September 2026 and 28 February 2027. Firms that apply within that window can generally keep operating while their application is assessed.

Liability Follows the Communicator

UK enforcement has targeted the individual making the promotion, not only the company behind it. That means a KOL and the agency that briefed them both carry real exposure if a disclosure is missing, not just the client.

FAQ

What is crypto marketing in London?

Crypto marketing in London means promoting Web3 and blockchain projects under one of the strictest promotion regimes in the world. Every KOL post and paid placement has to carry the FCA’s standardized risk warning, and first-time investors are entitled to a 24-hour cooling-off period before receiving a direct offer.

A crypto marketing agency in London runs the same core services as anywhere else: KOL campaigns, PR, community management, SEO and fundraising. The difference is the FCA. Its disclosure and risk-warning requirements get built into every deliverable from the brief stage, not fixed after launch. theKOLLAB covers KOL and influencer marketing, crypto fundraising, PR and earned media, community management and SEO for Web3 companies targeting the UK market.

The FCA’s financial promotions regime has covered qualifying cryptoassets since October 2023, and it applies to overseas firms marketing to UK consumers, not only UK-based ones. Promotions need a standardized risk warning, first-time investors get a 24-hour cooling-off period, and incentives to invest are banned. A broader authorisation regime, covering far more than marketing, comes into force on 25 October 2027.

KOL and influencer marketing works, but disclosure has to be airtight given the FCA’s active finfluencer enforcement. PR lands hardest when it’s placed in London’s institutional press, the Financial Times, Bloomberg, the BBC, or pegged to the city’s event calendar, including Digital Assets Week and the Digital Assets Forum. SEO works well for regulatory-intent searches like “FCA registered crypto marketing agency,” since that traffic is already close to a decision.

Yes, with conditions. A pre-authorisation company can still market in the UK, provided the promotion is clear, fair, not misleading, and carries the required risk warning. Whether the promotion counts as a “direct offer” to a first-time investor matters more at the early stage than full authorisation status does, since that determines whether the 24-hour cooling-off rule applies.

91% of UK adults are aware of cryptoassets, and 8% own them, per the FCA’s own December 2025 research. The UK remains the largest crypto economy in Central, Northern and Western Europe. The FCA’s existing financial promotions regime is about to be joined by a full authorization regime, with the application gateway opening in September 2026 ahead of the regime’s October 2027 start date. Most serious operators are already building campaigns around that timeline rather than waiting for it.

We build campaigns around London’s institutional crypto calendar, including Digital Assets Week, which runs October 6 to 7, 2027 in London, and the Digital Assets Forum, running February 1 to 2, 2027.

We treat it as part of the brief, not a review step at the end. Every KOL post carries the required risk warning from the first draft. Every campaign gets checked against the FCA’s direct offer and cooling-off rules before any paid placement goes live. And we confirm a project’s investor categorization requirements before writing anything tied to a raise.
